Hoshino Coffee @ Queensbay Mall, Malaysia 星乃咖啡店

As there were many recommendations on Hoshino Coffee Shop, hence my family and I decided to have a quick lunch in 2019. The environment of the coffee shop was extremely ambient with the music played. The dishes are large in size for us. The food tasted good. It is a good place for family or friends gathering. After this abundant lunch, we had a walk in the mall before we left.

2D1N Kudat Trip

Having been in Sabah for 5 1/2 years, I have not yet explored much places in Sabah. This was the first time I planned a trip to Kudat. I stayed at Kudat downtown for one night. I am still a newbie in planning trips as well as photoshooting. A short trip to Kudat do not cost too much. While planning, I did some research of the places of interest, distances and the accommodation. Luckily, one of my lecturer joined us and she was driving during the whole trip. Great thanks to her!

Our plan of 2D1N Kudat Trip was as follow:
Day 1
- Breakfast at Tuaran town
- Sumangkap Gong Factory
- Rungus Longhouses
- Check-in
- Lunch
- Walk around Kudat town
- Esplanad Sidek
- Dinner

Day 2
- Breakfast
- Buy some souvenirs (Kudat Groundnuts)
- Tip of Borneo (Simpang Mengayau)
- Lunch (at the roundabout to Kota Marudu)
- Back to campus

It was an enjoyable and relax trip that I learnt the cultures of Rungus and local Kudat. The beach and views at Kudat are amazing! When I stood on the tip of Borneo, words couldn't describe my feelings.

P/S: Due to the poor internet access, the photos will be uploaded when I have strong internet connection.

Kundasang trip

Kundasang.. It is one of  the places which I wish to visit most. Finally, in last year, I have a chance to go there with my buddy. It takes almost three hours to drive there before we could reach Kundasang town from Pekan Tuaran
We stop by while on the way going there...

The scene is misty and we know that we are almost there!

The dim sum we have before we went to Kundasang.
They are so delicous and we have them at Luyang!

I am at the house!!! Kinabalu Pine Resort! Nice one!

Yeah! I can eat dim sum!

The night before, we stay at hotel in City Mall to celebrate birthday for Leslie!

Labuan Trip (30/8/2014 - 1/9/2014)

DAY 1
Reach Labuan
Early in the morning, we took the 8 a.m. ferry leaving for Labuan.
It took us 3 and half hours to travel from Jesselton Point, Kota Kinabalu to Labuan.
Although I have been travelling in boat before, I still vomitted because of the waves.
P/S: REMEMBER TO EAT MEDICINE before u on board!
The Labuan Jetty

We rent a car and checked-in at Aifa Hotel which is in the town right after we arrived the jetty.
At the Aifa Hotel, we were given some brochures about Labuan.
Their service are really great!

Batu Manikar Beach
There is a very great sunset view at this beach. (One of the tourism attractions) The scenery is damn beautiful! Unfortunately, we did not manage to enjoy the sunset due to the time factor. Though, the scene is still amazing!

Japanese Surrender Point
It is a place whereby the Japanese army surrendered during the war.
Walk up to the small hill, u can see a great view of Batu Manikar Beach!
It was a very great place for photo shooting!!

Peace Park
Near to the Japanese Surrender Point, Peace Park is there! It is a great place for photo shooting.
We took a lot of pictures and videos here!!!

Dinner
We were having our dinner at one of the restaurants in the town. Crabs~~ My favourite!!

Besides, we also went a walk at Labuan Square.
Due to Malaysia Independence Day, there were a lot of people there waiting for count down.

DAY 2
Marine Museum
The Labuan Marine Museum is at Jalan Merdeka. Although there are not many species of fishes here, still it is decorated nicely and well-arranged.

Labuan Museum
We can know a lot about the cultures and histories about Labuan from the war era untul nowadays!

The Chimney

Bird Park

Water Village
A kampung girl meets water village for the first time!!

Best souvenirs - chocolates
Chocolates and alcohols are really cheap here.
However, I just bought some chocolates for my friends and family.. hahaha

Anjung Ketam
We were having our seafood dinner at Anjung Ketam, the third stall. The orange juice are fresh orange juice, not from the bottle. All the seafood are fresh caught from the sea in the morning and all sold out at night time. We need to go there earlier to book for the seafood. Everything tasted nice! I want to go there once for food again!

DAY 3
Going home
There are two shifts of ferry to Kota Kinabalu there -  8 a.m. and 1 p.m. We chose the 1 p.m. because we do not want to rush for the ferry. There were many people in the departure hall and it was crowded at the imigration section.
P/S: Alcohol is just limited to 1 litre!!!

If you travel according to the brochure, your journey to go around Labuan is just approximate 40 kilometers.
Do not worry being there because there are many sign boards (in Malay language) which can show you where you want.
