Second batch of Year 6

"If you asked me why I have become a teacher,
I can tell you that I don't prefer teaching career.

If you asked me why I taught Year 6 once I started my career,
I can tell you that this is not a choice given.

If you asked me how do I feel of teaching Year 6,
I can tell you that it's as if you were on a roller coaster for the whole year!"

Doing my best in where I am is my ultimate mission!

Well, this is my second year of teaching Year 6 pupils, and my mission is to equip them with sufficient knowledge. Teaching upper primary is not an easy task. Facing a group of pupils who do not want to accept English as second language is even tougher. They could not see the importance of English language and reluctant to be 'friend' with it. Challenges faced daily, yet it do not block me!

What strategies I used to teach Year 6?
Frankly speaking, I have no idea. I just drill them in writing the simplest sentences. Drill grammar rules from time to time.

Wishing my year 6 students all the best in their journey!

I think a good teacher is strict with the discipline but can get along with the pupils when not in classroom. What do you think?

Charity Bazaar 2019

It's almost the end of the year and my school was orgnising a charity bazaar. There were an amount of stalls selling food, vegetables, toys, stationary and others.

I was lucky to get a stall of selling sandwiches. It's grateful that two mothers were helping us to prepare the super delicious sardine sandwiches and we managed to sell all 45 sandwiches in two hours! My students were initially shy, however, they managed to sell the sandwiches themselves after the encouragement! It was a huge step that they had stepped forward! Being proud of them! Bright smiles shown on their face when they managed to sell the first sandwich and slowly they gained their confidence!

Great job, girls! Keep yourselves shine until the end of your life!

Hoshino Coffee @ Queensbay Mall, Malaysia 星乃咖啡店

As there were many recommendations on Hoshino Coffee Shop, hence my family and I decided to have a quick lunch in 2019. The environment of the coffee shop was extremely ambient with the music played. The dishes are large in size for us. The food tasted good. It is a good place for family or friends gathering. After this abundant lunch, we had a walk in the mall before we left.
